Stand Tall to Live Longer


 BodyZone.com Posture Practice Online Seminars presents the StrongPosture™ exercise protocols from Dr. Weiniger's Live seminars and book, Stand Taller~Live Longer, in a clinical format integrating posture assessment, therapy & exercise

As boomers age and their posture slumps, many won't be content to fold over into "Old Posture". Helping Boomers Stand Taller is an opportunity for wellness practices focused on helping people stay healthy and moving well.   Conventional wisdom and current research shows the benefits of improving posture.

A 20 year University of London study looked at over 4,200 men aged 40-59 and found strong correlation between losing height and mortality. The authors speculated that slumping over postures caused a physical restriction of breathing which significantly increased risk of cardiovascular disease, stroke and respiratory mortality1.


Posture Practice Online seminars  are presented in an engaging lecture with detailed focused motion exercise videos to teach clinicians how to progress patients through care.  Our goal is helping the patient progress from:

  • AcuteCare (passive therapy + posture awareness) , and through
    • RehabCare (less passive therapy + increasing active rehab care training posture control exercises), and then onto
      • WellnessCare and coaching (daily posture exercises combined with periodic passive therapy to maximize the bio-mechanic benefits of all activities of daily living (ADLs) and other exercise)

The StrongPosture™ program builds postural awareness by teaching patients' simplified postural bio-mechanics combined with a sequential progression of posture exercise along three tracks (Balance-Alignment-Motion) in a patient friendly, research based framework of bio-mechanical concepts.

Chiropractors, massage therapists, personal trainers, physical therapists and other professionals can learn to practically integrate passive and active techniques with a progressive protocol designed to strengthen posture and retrain motion. Strengthening a patient’s posture creates perceived value with demonstrably improved function as well as pain relief and injury prevention and also promotes continuing effective exercise to help people move, feel and be well.


 Posture Practice Online Course Design

  • Fifteen (15) hour course presented in five 3-hour online modules, plus optional additional reading --Modules and classes are sequential, and may not be taken out of order.

Teach patients and clients to build a customized 10 minute a day StrongPosture  exercise program for improved posture awareness and strengthened core control and function. The protocols build up focused, short-duration exercises in three exercise tracks (Balance-Alignment-Motion, or B.A.M.) designed to integrate into a clinical course of treatment for real world, "monday morning" implementation.

Combined with patient friendly bio-mechanics (the Five Posture Principles from Stand Taller~Live Longer) and the StrongPosture daily LifeHabit ADLs, the BodyZone.com online video seminar will train you to help the people you care for Move, Feel and Be Well.
